What can I Expect When I Attend Worship at Your Church?

Praise music begins at 8:45 a.m., before the actual service begins.

After the 9:00 worship experience, you are welcome to join us for coffee, juice and cookies in the gathering space behind the sanctuary.

During the service, we teach from the Bible in ways that help us live our our mission statement, “This mission of the church is to make Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World.”  We give to God in song, being present in our presence, and giving our offerings.  Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month.  Prayer helps us settle our minds to the calling of God and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Following the children’s moment in worship, the kids (ages 3-5th grade) are welcome to journey into the basement for JUMP – Jesus You and Me Pray.  A time of age appropriate learning is followed by playing in the bounce house.

Sunday School (10:10) offers many different opportunities to learn more about the Bible, Jesus, Christianity, and being a United Methodist.  Click here for current information.

Nursery facilities are available.  A cry room is located on the north side of the sanctuary.  The nursery is located at the back of the sanctuary.  It is staffed by trained employees.

Parking is available on Washington and 5th St.  Handicap parking exists on the south side of the church in the lot between the church and LOFT.  FUMC is encouraged to park in the lot at the corner of Washington and 4th street. Prugh’s Funeral Home lot is also available for Sunday morning parking.
